Today MHS continues to offer innovative programs so that their patients’ self esteem and self worth can soar high above the limitations of their physical disabilities. The outstanding staff offers children a unique opportunity to grow as individuals and develop their maximum potential in all areas of life.
While much has changed over these years, the demands and limits on taxpayer’s dollars have not. The resources from the Commonwealth ensure that the patients receive excellent treatment and education but do not stretch far enough to give the children special experiences and opportunities that most of our children have access to in the community.
Your generous donation will make it possible for the patients to enjoy normal childhood experiences like playing computer games, researching on the internet, taking field trips, snow skiing, shopping at a nearby mall, going to Disney World and more. These are the opportunities that we seek to offer our patients that go above and beyond the necessities provided by the Commonwealth and dramatically enhance their quality of life.
